LOTS OF GREAT THINGS ARE
HAPPENING. June was a great month. We started the out with a concert in our hometown, Pell City, AL at their annual Block Party. It's always a blast to perform in our home town. We get to see so many old friends. For our friends and family that came out to support us, we thank you. We couldn't do it without your support and prayers. We also had the opportunity to host the first "FaithFest" in Springville, Alabama early in the month. It was a great event that took place at their High School Football stadium. Other artists such as the Truth Force Power Team, Jamey Hamm, and Kevin Moore came out to perform, as well. It was a great event. We hope that Faithfest will become an annual event. You can see photos from the event in our journal. We closed out the month with a concert at Lindsay Lane Baptist church in Athens, AL. It was a concert to close out a youth camp that was being held by several churches in the area. We had a blast with them. You can view a few of those photos in our journal, as well. Earlier in the month, Dave Mack from the Mark and Mack morning radio show in Birmingham, AL invited Scott to come on the show and share his testimony and talk a little about the "Hero" project. Scott was thrilled and humbled at the opportunity. It was an awesome opportunity for Scott to share his testimony and to promote our ministry. We really appreciate the guys at WDJC 93.7 FM in Birmingham. They have done a lot to support our ministry. If you live in Central Alabama, tune them in. Speaking of radio, we've made many new friend in the Pensacola/Ft. Walton Florida area this month. We noticed that a lot of CD's were being ordered from that part of the state via our website. After some inquiries, we found out that WGCX Praise 95.7 in Pensacola has had two of our songs in their rotation ("God of Me" and "Hero"). We've received numerous emails from people in the area wondering when we'll be bringing the "Hero" concert to their area. Right now, the only opportunity is Grace Fest 2005 that happens in September in Pensacola. We're anxiously awaiting to see if we are one of the independent bands that are selected to be there. There are a lot of independent bands trying to get invited to the event. We expect the decision to occur sometime this month. We'll keep praying that it works out. If it doesn't then hopefully something else to come up that will allow us to get into the area. We know that we will definitely be in the Florida panhandle area in early September for Kelly's wedding. WHAT? KELLY'S WEDDING? Yep. You read it hear first. The last single member of the band, Kelly, will be tying the knot with his fiancé, Toni, at the beach in September. We're all planning to make the trip to see the wedding and celebrate with them. We've been excited about a recent development regarding our single, "Hero". Hero was recently selected by Erwin Brothers Motion Pictures and Student Life Ministries to be used in their upcoming video that will be distributed to churches throughout the USA. We're not sure when the video will be out but as soon as it's available, we'll have it linked on the website for you to view. We're thrilled that "Hero" will get some exposure in this manner and we appreciate the consideration that Student Life Ministries and Erwin Brothers have shown us. We have some exciting events lined up for the next several weeks in Birmingham AL, Sylacauga AL, Springville AL, Pell City AL, Huntsville AL, and Macon GA. (see the current schedule at the end of this email). We hope to see you at one of them! Thanks again for your support!

Many times this applies to our spiritual lives as well. I can remember several times that an opportunity has come along to serve God or help someone in need, but I did nothing because I felt inadequate. I was filled with the fear of failing; the fear of not being good enough, or big enough. At the time I was glad to have gotten away from that uncomfortable moment with my pride still intact but, looking back on things, I can see what a wasted opportunity that it was. I can see that God had given me a chance to serve Him and I ran from it. Philippians
3:12
(NLT) says this: “I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved
these things or that I have already reached perfection! But
I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ
Jesus saved me for and wants me to be.” That means that we have
potential! And what’s even better is that the potential is without limit. If
we were only speaking about my potential as a golfer then we would have to
look at my height, my weight, my strength, my flexibility, and other
natural assets and limitations but when we are considering our spiritual
potential we have to keep in mind that we are empowered by God. Therefore,
there is no limit to what we can do. Philippians However, we must notice that Paul doesn’t imply that we will automatically reach our potential just because we are simply Christians. He says that he is working to become all that Jesus wants him to be. It is something we must consciously and actively be striving for. In other words, no more blown opportunities due to my fear of failure. As a matter of fact, II Timothy 1:7 tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. We must see life as an opportunity to serve God and never back down from it. We must be confident that our Almighty God is big enough when we are not, strong enough when we are weak, and gracious enough to bless us with gifts and talents to accomplish the things He puts before us. We are the only thing that can limit our potential. Don’t let anything get in your way, or convince you that you are not good enough. Keep in mind that Christ died for you with a purpose in mind. He died so that you could become something- someone with an unlimited potential to accomplish great things for Him. Don’t we owe it to Him to press on to reach that mark? Shouldn’t we do everything we can to make His sacrifice worth while? Reach your potential! Comments for Scott? Post them on our discussion board.
